Time is Running Short   Leave a comment

As has been mentioned numerous times on our site, we are in the midst of a fundraising campaign aimed at generating sufficient resources to get the club off the ground and ensure players that their costs will be reasonable.  We are in the last few weeks of that campaign and time is running short on meeting our fundraising goal.  Please take a moment to head over to Indiegogo and check it out, and consider partnering with us in making #yourhometeam a reality.

2012 College Roundup   Leave a comment

With the last players in our scouting pool exiting the NCAA tournament over the weekend, the time has come to amass all the statistics and awards from this past season and sing the praises of the players we have watched.

Over the course of the last season, the players we have had under consideration for our 2013 team scored 86 goals and contributed 57 assists for 229 points, with the goalkeepers holding their opponents to an average of 0.92 goals per game with a 72.2% winning percentage and a shutout in nearly half of their 74 games played (a more detailed breakdown of these numbers can be found here).

The end-of-year honors saw six players named to All-Conference teams, with four of them garnering Player of the Week honors and one named conference Most Valuable Player.  In addition, seven first-year players saw significant playing time with their college teams and ten players participated in the NCAA tournament.
